Vodafone is set to start offering the iPhone in the UK in January 2010. The network will be the latest in the UK to offer the popular Apple handset. The cheapest plan will be £30 monthly for two years.

On that plan, the iPhone will cost £59 for the 3G 8GB and £239 for the 3GS 32GB. The monthly data limit will be 1GB, 250MB more than Orange allows.

Vodafone will offer free unlimited WiFi use. A plan at £35 monthly includes a free 8GB 3G iPhone on Vodafone. Tethering is available for an additional £5 for 500MB of data transfer.
