Keystone ECO TAG Charges Gadgets with Solar Power

I have seen some odd mash ups of gadgets and other gear over the years and this ECO TAG charger from Concord is one of the stranger combinations. This thing is both a solar charger for small electronic devices and a luggage tag.

The device is designed to charge a pair of AAA batteries that are stored inside the tag with solar energy. The device also has the capability of charging cell phones, PMPs, digital cams and other devices that are directly connected to it.

The AAA batteries can be done in as little as four hours in direct sunlight or eight hours in partial sunlight. The USB connection for other portable devices can also recharge a device in as little as four hours. The device will ship in February for $35.
