Here's some good news for the environmentally conscious among us; UL environment has just announced that a new LG monitor is the first device to earn their Sustainable Product Certification. This monitor, the 23" LCD E2350VLED, is billed as being 90% recyclable. That was enough to earn this product an IEEE 1680 Gold rating, which is apparently the "most stringent and prestigious" level of compliance possible. So that's pretty cool.Anyone interested in seeing how green a monitor can get will be able to get a good, long look at CES 2010. That's when this new monitor is being unveiled for the first time.
