Buy Portable TV from Amazon Cyber Monday and Black Friday Now

I can see the appeal of a portable TV when you are out on the go. You could watch TV while riding the bus or train to work each day or when sitting waiting for an appointment you could watch some TV. I'm not sure that a dedicated device is the way most of us would prefer to watch TV; I would rather see it integrated into my iPhone.

Still, if a dedicated portable TV device floats your boat the 3.4-inch AMOLED Pocket digital TV model DHT234D from MyGoTV is debuting at CES this week. The device has an AMOLED display and can play for 2.5 hours continuously. The set picks up free OTA DTYV signals and NTSC RF channels 2-69. It has a monopole DTV antenna built-in and supports a resolution of 480 x 272.

The device supports MPEG-2 video and ATSC video along with Dolby Digital Audio and Digital multi-lingual audio. The TV ships with both AC and car adapters. Launch price for the tiny TV will be $169 with the regular price being $199.
