The long battery life claim requires the extended 6-cell 5600mAh battery with the standard battery of 4400mAh. The standard battery claims to be good for up to eight hours of battery life. Graphics are handled by Intel AMG 3150 with 64MB of video memory.
The screen is a 10.1-inch unit with a resolution of 1024 x 600. The keyboard is 93% full-size with a larger key layout and more key pitch. The track pad supports gestures and the netbook will come in red, black, and white colors. OS options include Windows 7 Starter or Windows XP. The machine will be available later this month starting at $299.99.
