Sony unveiled the Sony Torne DTV adapter for the Sony PS3 in Japan today. The Torne DTV adapter connects via USB to the Sony PS3 and Japanese users can watch and record their favorite TV shows on the PS3.
The Sony Torne adapter sells separate for 9,980 Yen (~$110) or bundled with a 250GB Sony PS3 for 42,800 Yen (~$470).
Europe got PlayTV in 2008, but the United States still has nothing besides Netflix movie streaming on the PS3.
