Sanyo already unveiled the world's smallest, lightest, and thinnest Dual Camera at the CES 2010 with the Sanyo VPC-CS1 / DMX-CS1. Today Sanyo unveiled the world's slimmest and lightest sound recorder.
The cool looking Sanyo Xacti ICR-XPS03MF and ICR-XPS01MF feature Linear PCM recording in addition to various MP3 modes. Linear PCM is a high quality sound recording mode that is equivalent to an audio CD, which can be recorded onto a microSD card and easily transferred and played back on a computer or shared online.
By adopting a slim large-capacity lithium-ion battery and a touch sensor enabling smooth operation, the thickness of the new Sanyo Xacti ICR-XPS01MF and ICR-XPS03MF has been reduced by about 28%, and the weight by about 5%, compared to previous SANYO models. Dimensions: 9.4mm thick, weighs only 46g.
The new Sanyo Xacti Sound recorders are packed with features that you did not know you actually need for sound recording - very gadgetty.
The Sanyo Xacti ICR-XPS03MF and ICR-XPS01MF will be available from the end of January 2010.
