We're still a year or two off from commonplace 4G, but manufacturers are already hard at work producing WiMax netbooks for the obsessive tech-geeks among us. Take a gander at the Asus Eee PC 1005PEG (Netbooked), a netbook with integrated 4G. It was shown first at CES 2010, and should be making its way to market at some point in the next year.
Other than the WiMax antennae, there's not much exciting about this netbook. It sports an Atom N450 processor, 10.1" matte display, 1 GB of RAM, a 250 GB HDD, b/g/n WiFi, a 6-cell battery, and Bluetooth. Prices have not been announced yet. It's likely this thing will end up getting subsidized by a carrier anyway.
