Between J.J. Abrams' fantastically successful reboot of the series and the upcoming Star Trek Online MMORPG, there's never been a better time to be a trekkie. Or a trekker. Whatever you call yourselves these days, you'll be interested to note that limited time subscription offers (via Fudzilla) have been announced.
These offers include a $119 one-year pass, as well as a $239.99 lifetime subscription to the game. Since the monthly subscription fee is $15, you would end up saving money after about a year and a half. Of course, there's absolutely no guarantee as to whether or not the game is any good at this point. Dropping that much money on a lifetime subscription is a risky proposal.
These offers expire on February 1st. Oh, and a lifetime subscription nets you two bonus character slots and the ability to play a Borg character. Anyone willing to take the risk?
