Walmart's TV commercials are usually rather boring. This weekend things changed dramatically. The new Walmart Clown Commercial is hilarious and has dark humor in it that is definitely not for everyone to stomach.
I stumbled over the Walmart Clown Commercial first on the Unruly Media Viral Video chart. After watching it, I thought it is a spoof, but it looks like it really ran on TV.
The video is in 5th place in the viral charts right now. I guess it would rank much higher if there were a single video upload. Fans of the commercial blast Youtube with uploads of the Clown video (watch it below).
I do not want to spoil the fun watching this Walmart ad for the first time. Just watch it below to see what happens. Walmart promotes with the ad that you can buy everything for a kids party at Walmart and save.
This type of dark humor commercial is actually ideal for Super Bowl. Walmart is not yet listed on any Super Bowl 2010 advertiser lists, but maybe the retail giant is making a last minute surprise.
Just like last year, we will be featuring our Super Bowl for Geeks Guide for the Super Bowl 2010. Of course the Super Bowl for Geeks Guide is all about the Super Bowl Ads and not the game.
You can follow the Super Bowl 2010 Advertisers in our Twitter Super Bowl List.
