James Cameron did it again. Avatar just has taken the top spot as top grossing movie of all time beating Titanic. As you know Titanic was also directed by James Cameron as well. Cameron did not do any other movie since then. Titanic got released in 1998.
Avatar broke the $1.843 billion record of Titanic on Monday.
Experts expect Avatar go beyond $2 billion. The revenue is fueled by the more expensive 3D screenings of Avatar.
If you can make a $ billion grossing movie, you only need to do one every 12 years.

Avatar is also set to take home a ton of Oscars.

Avatar is expected to drive 3D Blu-ray sales in the Holiday shopping season 2010.
Amazon has already setup an Avatar store front featuring Avatar video games, books and action figures.
