PS3 Exclusive MAG Launches

One of the most popular types of games for consoles and PC gamers today is the shooter genre. Sony has announced that a new and exclusive PS3 game called MAG has launched. The big feature of MAG is that multiplayer action with up to 256 people can be had online.

The battlefield in the game is global and a command structure puts players into squads of eight to work together in order to progress through a world known as Shadow War. The game is set in 2025 as a secret conflict rages between private military corps vying for dominance.

The game awards experience points vital to gaining new items and skills for players allowing them to socialize on the battlefield. Players can lead a squad or a platoon and eventually become the office in charge. The game is rated T for teen.
