By the time the iPad launches in March, there will no doubt be a slew of peripheral devices and docks from third party manufacturers. Today, all we know about are the five accessories that Apple has released info on.
Don't Miss: Incredible Pokemon Gifts
First off, is the keyboard dock. This device turns your iPad into a svelte, low-space desktop computer. It acts as both a charging dock, and a full-sized keyboard. The dock has a rear 30-pin connector, which lets you connect it to an outlet or sync it to your computer. It has an audio jack to hook up with stereo speakers.
Next, and my favorite, is the iPad case. This looks like a leather book-cover type protective package to slide your iPad into. It features a front cover with the Apple logo and seems to be the 'must-have' device for the iPad. I know I wouldn't want to drop $500+ on a gadget like this without some sort of protection.
Don't Miss: iPhone 8: Everything You Need to Know
Last we have a vanilla iPad dock, an iPad camera connection kit (so you can import photos and videos) and an iPad USB power adapter, which lets you charge your iPad directly from an outlet. Apple seems to have the basics covered. We'll have to wait for 3rd party manufacturers to see some really crazy dock set-ups.
