Alright, so the iPad can't handle Flash. Fortunately, that doesn't mean nearly what it once did. The Youtube app has already allowed millions of iPhone users to cross the Flash barrier, and it looks like Hulu may be about to do something similar. Electronista reports that Jason Kilar, head of Hulu, has just stated that his company is working on moving into mobile platforms.

This isn't an open admission of an iPad app, but it might as well be. Flaws notwithstanding, the iPad is very likely to be an enormous hit, while the iPhone is already huge. Hulu can't afford to ignore tens of millions of eager customers-to-be. When asked directly about the iPad, Kilar remained noncommittal.
“We are very big believers in mobile and we don’t think about (just) one device only.”

Of course, with the iPad it isn't an issue of "just one" device. There are already legions of iPhone customers and their numbers will only increase with time. It doesn't seem to be a question of 'will' there be a Hulu app for the iPhone OS, but 'when'.
