Tesla Motors Files S1 For IPO

Electric car maker Tesla Motors announced that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering (IPO) of its common stock.

The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the offering have not yet been determined. It is also not known yet when Tesla Motors is going IPO.

IPO's have been getting very rare in this market. A car maker going public has also not happened in ages.

The Tesla Roadster is the hottest electric car that you can buy today. It is expensive, but it makes fun and you support the development of electric cars.
