Dragon is also getting into voice control and interface software for other uses and industries as well. Nuance has announced the industry's first integrated speech interface for on and off-board service. The latest platform from the company is called Nuance Voice Control Automotive. The platform is the industry's first solution to provide one-button, seamless access to all services on-board and connected with a single user interface.
The system will allow drivers to get real-time information and other service like SMs text messaging so drivers can speak texts while driving, interaction with social networks, news and weather, movie theater locations, restaurants in the area, and price lists for hotels. The system sounds pretty cool and the speech to text function will be great if it is accurate and works well for all drivers.
