Nikon Debuts Coolpix S8000, S6000, S4000 and S3000 Cameras

Nikon's new S series of Coolpix cameras has several different models to choose form including the S8000, the S6000, S4000, and S3000. The S8000 is a 10x optical zoom camera with a 14.2MP sensor. It has a 3-inch rear LCD and can shoot at 4 fps for 45 frames. It will ship this month for $299.95.

The S6000 is a 14.2MP camera with 7x optical zoom and 720p HD recording mode. The rear LCD of the camera is 2.7-inches and it has HDMI out for connecting to a HDTV among other features. The cam will ship in March for $249.95.

The S4000 has a 3-inch LCD and 12MP resolution. The camera has 4x optical zoom and uses a wide angle lens. Features include image stabilization and more. It will ship in March for $199.95. The S3000 is a 4x zoom 12MP camera that will ship in March for $149.95.
The new Nikon cameras are already available for pre-order on Amazon.
