A new Apple product line means a new line of peripherals from manufacturers like iSkin and Mophie. Every year the CES show includes the iLounge Pavilion, where various companies go to show off their Apple product-related peripherals. In 2010, the Pavilion was 25,000 square feet in size and filled with more than 100 companies. And next year is set to be even bigger. iLounge has reserved twice as much space for 2011.
Skosche, Incipio, Vestalife and many others will all be in attendance next year, with their iPad accessories in tow. Right now, there are fairly few cool peripherals for the iPad. That state of affairs will not last long. I predict that keyboard/speaker combo iPad docks are going to be very big at CES 2011. There are quite a few elaborate docks for the iPhone and iPod touch, and the iPad opens up so many more potential avenues.
It won't all be iPad-related gear, though. New apps, as well as accessories for iPods, iPhones & Macs will all be in attendance. Just 11 months left to wait!
We will again have comprehensive coverage of CES 2011 starting months before January 6th, 2011, when the International CES 2011 is scheduled to open.
