The system is a rack mount device that acts as a sort of hub for HDMI input devices. You can connect up to eight HDMI inputs from game consoles to Blu-ray players and cable boxes to the Matrix switch and then connect up to eight HD displays as well.
The switch will allow you to send each input to its own screen or send the input from open device to all screens. It supports 1080p resolution along with Dolby True HD and DTS HD Master audio. The device includes an IR remote for controlling inputs. It can be pre-ordered now for $3,999.
