In a last minute move GoDaddy replaces the GoDaddy Movies Super Bowl commercial with a new one titled Spa.
GoDaddy unveiled Movies starring Danica Patrick in hot movie scenes already back in mid-January.
GoDaddy cites issues related to licensing arrangements with various movie studios as reasons to replace Movies.
"We had received very positive feedback about our Movies commercial and are disappointed it won't air in the Super Bowl. If we are ever able to work this out with the film studios, we'd love to air both the broadcast and Internet-Only versions of Movies.
We will use Spa as the replacement for our 1st Quarter Super Bowl ad." says Bob Parsons CEO & Founder Go Daddy.
The Spa GoDaddy Super Bowl Ad has the same concept as the GoDaddy News ad. A hot woman starts ripping of her close just before the end to entice Super Bowl 44 viewers to go online to watch the unrated end of the GoDaddy 2010 Super Bowl commercials.
It is a very simple concept, but it will just work great again as it has worked in the past for GoDaddy. I like the GoDaddy News Ad more than Spa, but decide yourself. Watch the GoDaddy Spa commercial below.
Just like last year, I4U News is featuring again the Super Bowl for Geeks Guide. Of course the Super Bowl
2010 for Geeks Guide is all about the Super Bowl Commercials and not the game. The Super Bowl XLIV takes place on Sunday, February 7th in Florida in the Sun Life Stadium.
