My Nexus One has had multitouch functionality for a couple of days now. It is absolutely fantastic, browsing with pinch-zoom is so much less of a pain in the butt. Honestly, I'm not sure how I got along without multitouch for so very long.
Some of you Droid owners may be seething with envy at this point. Don't worry; your phone is the next on the docket to receive the gentle, soothing embrace of multitouch. If you want your phone updated now, just roll on over to the Android market and grab the upgrade.
In addition to multitouch, the update allows starred items from Google.com to sync with maps. It also makes your search suggestions on maps include maps.google.com search history, and enables night mode navigation.
