As reported McDonald's signed LeBron James for a multi-year advertising deal. Today during the CBS Today Super Bowl pregame show the new McDonald's LeBron James commercial will debut.

LeBron James and Dwight Howard will recreate the classic McDonald's 1993 Super Bowl commercial "The Showdown." The Showdown (watch ad here) had Michael Jordan and Larry Bird in trick-shot competition for a Big Mac.

McDonald's has published a 12 second teaser of the new LeBron James and Dwight Howard showdown. Watch it below. McDonald's says to tune in to CBS before the kickoff of Super Bowl XLIV to see the rest.

Just like last year, I4U News is featuring again the Super Bowl for Geeks Guide. Of course the Super Bowl 2010 for Geeks Guide is all about the Super Bowl Commercials and not the game. The Super Bowl XLIV takes place on Sunday, February 7th in Florida in the Sun Life Stadium. Watch all Super Bowl 2010 ads online in our constantly updated Super Bowl 2010 Ad Video Gallery.
