Dante's Inferno Superbowl Ad: Quite Tame

There's been some controversy over EA's new game, Dante's Inferno. First EA hired protesters to fake public outcry against their game. Next, the explicit ad first intended for the Superbowl was rejected. The ad they put in its place is badass, but rather tame. It shows us a gigantic, graphically awe-inspiring battle in the pits of hell itself, set to an oddly appropriate old tune.

While the ad didn't shock me, it did show off a pretty impressive looking boss fight. I've got no idea if the actual GAME will look that cool (almost certainly not) but the ad makes it look intriguing. The question is, will gamers forgive EA for their faux-protesting trickery?
