The USA Today Admeter 2010 was scoring Super Bowl ads in real-time this year. I am not sure if anybody saw that coming and would have bet that the Snickers Super Bowl 2010 ad starring Betty White and Abe Vigoda would win.
The Snickers commercial is really good, but also not crazy over the top. The idea that you play football like Betty White or Abe Vigoda if your hungry is creative.
I assume the fine twist during the ad that reveals that Betty White is not playing on the field for real is what got the Snickers the prestigious USA Today 2010 Ad Meter top spot.
The Doritos Underdog took home second place and the Bud Light beer can house is 3rd. See all Admeter 2010 results on USA Today.
