In the car, gadgets that charge by USB can get power from the car's DC outlet from the same USB car charger too, saving you some money as long as you can remember to take the devices charge cable with you. A company called Bracketron has unveiled a new USB car charger that is very compact.
The device sits almost flush with the DC outlet in your car and you can plug a single USB cable into it to charge any USB device like an iPhone or an iPod. The device has a red LED that glows when it is getting power. The charger is cheap at $14.99, but the shipping charge direct from the company is an additional $10 making the device cost $24.95.
