For that much scratch you get a huge 70-inch screen with 1920 x 1080 resolution and a 2000:1 contrast ratio. The screen has a 420 cd/m2 brightness rating with 600 cd/m2 maximum brightness. The display has integrated thermal protection and internal temperature sensors.
The panel uses a sealed design to protect against dust, grease, and steam and has an integrated expansion slot for connectivity. The screen has an internal clock and scheduler to turn the display off on a schedule to save power. A version of the screen will also be offered with an integrated tuner called the P701-AVT in March.
