Pet Acoustics is the name of the company that is behind the My Pet Speaker and the system is designed to let you play music for your pets at volume levels that won’t harm their ears. The company says that the device is perfect for playing music for dogs, cats, horses, and the pet owners. The system has an omnidirectional speaker with a 4-inch driver and a cone reflector that is able to produce music all around for 360-degrees of listening pleasure.
The system has soft bass for better comfort when listening and is covered in a wood veneer. The system is designed to work with any music source including the iPhone, iPod touch, MP3 player, CD player, and anything else with a 3.5mm output. The system measures 12.5" x 9.84" x 12.6" and weighs 11.02 pounds. The speaker will ship in March for $249.95 and can be pre-ordered this month. An iPhone app is available that goes with it on iTunes for $1.99. I wonder if it is shielded against cat urine.
