If you just have to have a myTouch 3G, you'd better hold on for a few more days. SlashGear reports that T-Mobile's website has been updated and now states that the improved myTouch 3G will be “coming soon”. This new version of the old phone features a 3.5 mm headphone jack and 288 MB of RAM.
Swype comes pre-installed on all of these new myTouch phones. They will retail for $149.99, substantially cheaper than the Fender Edition myTouch. I'd still rather drop the extra fifty bucks on something with a 1 GHz processor, but that's just me.
