TiVo Has Something Big Coming

March 2nd, 6:00 PM. That's when TiVo's big launch event is scheduled for. What exactly is going to launch? We have absolutely no clue. Engadget's posted up the event invitation. It claims that “inventing the DVR was just a warm-up.”

That's quite a statement. Whatever it is TiVo has up their sleeves, they've managed to do one hell of a job of keeping it quiet. Until March, we'll just have to sit and ponder. I hope TiVo isn't creating more buzz than they can possibly live up to with an announcement like this. Calling the DVR a 'warmup' sets expectations for this launch pretty damn high.
