We have heard rumors and some information on the HTC HD2 before. Earlier this month the handset was rumored to be headed to T-Mobile here in the US. That rumor has been confirmed at MWC with the official announcement that the HD2 will be coming to T-Mobile this spring.

The handset promises to bring a never before seen mobile entertainment experience to users. The smartphone's massive 4.3-inch screen is the largest offered in America and will offer access to eBooks, movies, and more. The CPU in the device is the 1GHz Snapdragon and the handset supports 3G.

The device is a Windows Mobile 6.5 phone and will use the HTC Sense UI. Apps that will be offered on the device include Blockbuster on Demand, Barnes & Noble eReader, MobiTV and more. Other features include a 16GB microSD card for storage, 5MP autofocus camera with dual LED flash, and navigation from Telenav GPS.
