During this morning's press conference (via Engadget) T-Mobile's CTO made several big announcements. The HD2 and T-Mo's new deal with BlockBuster were both outlined, as was the imminent launch of the webConnect Rocket.

The Rocket is a 21 Mbps HSPA+USB modem. Right now Philadelphia is the only city fully capable of taking advantage of this technology. That said, T-Mo has been good about expanding their coverage regularly. The webConnect Rocket will launch in March, although you might want to hold off until this Fall, when more of the country will be able to take full advantage.
