There is a new toy pet in town that wants to kick the little Zhu Zhu Pet hamsters from the top of the hottest toys charts.
The Xachi Pets look funny and are controllable via the iPhone or iPod touch. Xachi Pets have animated eyes, squeaker, accelerometer for games, touch-sensitivity, and robotic legs for dancing. When you pet Xachi's soft hair he purrs. If you turn a Xachi upside down he is apparently going wild.
With the Xachi iPhone app is taking some pointers from the classic Tamagotchi pets. The app shows Thirst, Health, and Happiness of your Xachi. You have to feed it with food that you earn by playing games.
The Xachi Pets are supposed to arrive this Summer.
