The Packard Bell Butterfly Touch: A Graphic Designer's Wet Dream

Art students, get ready to moan with desire. Netbooked has just received confirmation from Notebook Italy that the new Butterfly Touch from Packard Bell will be launching in February of 2010. This CULV tablet notebook features an 11.6" multi-touch display, an Intel CULV processor, GMA 4500MHD graphics, 2 GB of RAM, up to a 640 GB HDD, a 6 cell battery, and Windows 7 Home Premium. The Butterfly Touch should be able to last around 8 hours on a charge with that battery. It will come pre-loaded with a bunch of useful software additions, including Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 and Microsoft Touch Pack Apps. It will be available in Black and Red. No U.S. price exists yet, but it is estimated to cost around 599 Euros. That probably means a U.S. price in the $700-900 range.
