Consumers will soon be able to watch mobile TV through AT&T with LG's newest portable device, the ARENA. Featuring a 3-inch WVGA screen and 5 megapixel digital camera, the device is set to go on sale next month.
The device will be completely Internet-enabled, allowing users to go to their favorite social networking destinations or check the latest news. Service will be provided by AT&T, which also lends its Mobile TV service to the Arena.
"This device gives our customers easy access to everything, from social networking sites to their favorite TV show, with just a tap of a finger," said AT&T VP Michael Woodward.
The GPS-enabled Arena can also be linked to AT&T's Navigator service, which charges a $9.99 monthly fee.
The device will be available for purchase through AT&T on March 7th. Initial price will be $199.99 after a 2-year service contract subsidy and a $50 mail-in rebate.
