Internet hosting company Go Daddy has been making headlines and generating huge traffic with their riskey Super Bowl ads since 2005. Those days maybe over. Today Go Daddy announced a commercial contest with serious money to be won by creative people out there.
All in all Go Daddy puts a total of $175,000 in prize money ($100,000 for the winner, $50,000 for 2nd and $25,000 for 3rd) for the best user created commercials in this contest.

Doritos leads the way on user generated Super Bowl ads and has had major success with it.

"I've always said, everyone wants to work in marketing," said Go Daddy CEO and Founder Bob Parsons. "Now is the time - bring your best work, create your own video and let's see if we can find the next big Go Daddy commercial!"

So how do you compete? Contest commercials don't need to be professionally produced, but ad professionals are eligible. Ads must be between 15 and 30 seconds in length.
Go Daddy is extremely successful with their sexy Super Bowl ads. It will not be easy to find a similar successful concept for Go Daddy.

The online public voting begins March 22nd to determine the winners. All submissions must be received by April 23rd, with voting coming to a close May 7th. Winners will be announced online in mid-May. More details here.
