Brother, a company best known for their printers, has just announced the imminent launch of an enterprise E-Reader. (Nexus404) The SV-70 will have a 9.7” screen and a cheaper price-tag than the SV-100 they released last year. Brother has cut prices by slashing memory and removing Bluetooth.
While this reader only has enough space for 500 e-pages, it does have an SD card slot. Brother brags that it will be able to power on in just five seconds and deliver 52 hours of continuous use. The display can be password protected, and the price should land somewhere under the $1,092 cost of the SV-100.
