Facebook games like Farmville are the opiate of the masses. I've had friends who managed to avoid World of Warcraft and heroin get addicted to Farmville to the extent that it is almost terrifying. And now the insane, compulsive joy of this little Flash game can be enjoyed by Nexus One owners. AndroidSpin reports that a user with the HTC Desire ROM (which includes Flash 10.1) has the game working now.

Of course, Flash 10.1 isn't available to non-hacked Nexus Ones just yet. Don't worry though; the update will be out before the next few months are out. Then we'll all be able to waste hundreds of hours of our lives running an imaginary farm and utterly ignoring the world around us. Here's a video of the game in progress.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
