The device runs Windows 7 and has handwriting recognition and the screen supports multitouch with up to three fingers at once. The device has a battery that promises 10 hours of battery life max and 7 hours with video playback. An optional 3G modem is available for mobile broadband on the go.
Other features include a built-in webcam and mic for mobile conferencing, dual USB ports, mini USB port, SDHC slot, Bluetooth, VGA output, and an internal speaker. The machine runs an Intel Atom 1.6GHz Z530 or 2GHz Z550 CPU and stores data to a SSD of 32GB or 64GB on some versions or a 60GB HDD. The machine has 1GB of RAM. The device can be had starting at $699.
