The case looks a lot like the Mophie Juice Pack Air battery. It is glossy black and surrounds your iPhone for drop protection. The device allows the iPhone to control any IR device and can replace all your existing devices. You can control multiple devices from one screen and the case works with a free app offering the software for control.
All you need for the device to work is the hardware case and the software app; no dongles have to be connected to the phone. The IR transmitter is built into the case and the case is easily removed when needed. The app will get updates and new features as time goes by. The system sells for $59.99.
