The Viliv S10 Blade has a lot going for it. Sexy (inch thick!) design, solid hardware specs, and a build that emphasizes the 'tablet' part of the 'tablet-book' concept without shedding the keyboard. We reported yesterday that Dynamism is carrying the S10 Blade's basic version for $699. Now information has leaked out that gives us the details behind every price point.
SlashGear reports that a UMPC Portal reader managed to work out the pricing through some expert Googling. The best version of the Blade, with 3G, Windows 7, a 2.0 GHz processor and 64 GB SSD, costs $1079. The 'step-down' version, with a 1.6 GHz processor, 32 GB SSD, and 3G, costs $889.
Ouch. That's a lot to pay, even for a device with 10 hours of battery life and a 10.1” multitouch screen. Anyone still interested?
