It appears that a very clever Apple fan in Austria has managed to make himself a real, working titanium iPhone. When the pictures first went up yesterday, the Internet called 'fake' almost at once. As a retort, the young man who built the thing put up a video online (via Engadget). In the video, he shows all sides of the device and than places a call on it.
The creator also showed off some rough prototype pieces. The final product looks perfect. From where I'm sitting, it's good enough to be an actual Apple product. I bet quite a few iPhone owners wish that was the case. This fellow could probably make a good side income titanium-ing iPhones for wealthy nerds around the globe.
