One of the chief problems I have with my HP dv4 is the awful, tinny integral speakers that it shipped with. If I'm the only one listening, and I keep the computer close to my face, I can hear fine. Otherwise I start to lose dialogue during quiet shows. Watching Deadwood on it is a major pain in the butt.
But with these new Logitech Z205 portable laptop speakers, maybe I'll be able to turn my laptop into a decent home entertainment device (Nexus 404). These speakers are 1.35” thick and 2.5” tall. They can attach to the top of your lappy via a clip.
Logitech claims that these speakers will deliver full stereo sound. The Z205 connects via USB, and it has its own volume adjustment knobs. They'll cost around $40 when they launch later this month. I'm thinking of buying one. How about you?
