Holy information security failure! Gizmodo has just posted up a slew of leaked photos of what appear to be the new Project Pink phones from Microsoft. The photos are all uniformly, suspiciously blurry. These photos appear to be of the Pure, a device similar to the Sidekick.

The Pure will be heading to Verizon, although no release date is out yet. May or June is the most likely launch day. Whatever the OS on this device is, it doesn't really look like Windows Phone 7. Similar, sure, but very definitely not the same thing. Gizmodo's gotten ahold of some leaked Pink firmware, which seems to confirm that these devices descendants of the Zune and Sidekick.
