The G2 can shoot 720p HD video in AVCHD Lite format. The cameras touch screen letting users touch the thumbnail, image on screen that want to view in playback mode. The screen also allows the user to touch the subject that they want to focus on in an image.
The screen also lets users control settings with touch when taking images. The screen can tilt and rotate 180 degrees side to side and tilts up to 270 degrees up and down for 100% field of view. The camera has a 12.1MP sensor and can shoot 60 frames per second. The camera also has MEGA OIS and a dust reduction system. The kit lens will be a 14-42mm lens and the system will work with any micro four thirds lenses. Pricing and availability will be unveiled 30 days before the shipping date.
