MSI let their freak flag fly a little bit at this year's CeBIT show. While most people expect all-in-ones and netbooks and laptops from the manufacturer, a hybrid landline-VOIP phone built to run on the Android OS is a bit outside of their wheelhouse. But they made it anyway.
Akihabara news reports that this truly strange hybrid will function as both a landline phone, or a VOIP phone. That is very important. Many younger people (20s) lack any sort of landline connection, but damn near all of us have the Internet. This device has a huge touchscreen, 2 LAN ports, a USB port, and a card reader.
Pricing and availability have not been announced yet.
