Had enough of tablets yet? If so, I've got some bad news; you ain't seen nothing yet. Yahoo News reports (via Electronista) that ARM's global mobile device manager expects over 50 ARM-based tablet devices to launch in 2010.
The first of these tablets will launch in the spring, and the vast majority of them will roll out over the course of the summer. Several of these tablets are expected to hit the top ten carriers. Many of them will be specific to certain countries and regions, and most are expected to run either Windows CE or Android. While a lot of these tablets will be area-specific, the US will see plenty of launches.
The success of ARM tablets is good news for everyone but Intel, who was really hoping their Atom chip would win over tablet manufacturers. There's still time, Intel, just keep that battery efficiency up.
