OCZ Onyx SSDs Surface at Under $100

OCZ has been making enthusiast memory and other devices for computers for a long time. The company has a full line of SSDs that are offered in many different styles and price points. The company has unveiled its latest SSD offering called the OCZ Onyx.

The Onyx series SSDs use MLC NAND and target a price of under $100. The SSD has 32GB of storage, which isn't enough for the only drive in most computers, but will be great for a boot drive for your OS.

OCZ promises a 1.5M hour MTBF rate and covers the drive with a three-year warranty. The SSD offers read speeds of up to 125MB/s, write speeds up to 70MB/s and has 64MB of onboard cache. Not bad at all for under $100.
