While we still have a few months to go before the official launch of the first Windows Phone 7 series device, additional details about the upcoming OS are pouring out now. PocketNow reports that several new screens for the Windows Phone 7 are being unveiled at MIX10.
From the start screen, you'll be able to tap and hold any tile to move or remove it. This sounds very similar to moving widgets in Android. When deleting a tile, you'll be presented with a broken heart. All applications that can be added as tiles will have a heart icon in the app bar to let you know. Email management was detailed as well. You'll be able to switch between different filters, and deletion is as easy is tapping a check box.
The coolest new feature revealed thus far? The "I am late" function in Calendar. Just tap it and your phone will instantly inform every person associated with that appointment (that you have contact info for) of your imminent tardiness.
