Asus has just added two new nettops to their line-up. iTechNews reports that both the EeeBox PC EB1012U and EB1501U pack Atom 330 dual core processors. They each have 2 GB of RAM and an Nvidia Ion Graphics card. With that kind of hardware, these nettops should be able to handle all of your media-box needs.
Both EeeBoxes have 2.5" hard drives and a multi card reader. They have b/g/n WiFi and HDMI output. The EB1012U has one USB 3.0 port, while the EB1501U has two, plus a DvD supermulti burner and an ESATA port.
The EeeBoxes are some of the first commercial computers made that pack in USB 3.0 slots. If you ask me, that's almost reason enough to buy them. USB 3.0 can't possibly become ubiquitous fast enough.
