Most consumers want a device with lots of functionality that looks cool too. Some users care nothing for how the device looks, and simply want a handset that can survive their daily grind. For the workingman needing a robust handset AT&T Wireless has added the Airo Wireless A25is to its line.

The new rugged handset is the first of its kind to hit the wireless network and supports the full range of AT&T mobile business applications. The handset has been certified safe and approved for UL 913 in America and meets military specs fro ruggedness of MIL-SPEC 810-F/G.

The handset has a 2.8-inch touchscreen and is under an inch thick. The device can survive falls of up to 50-inches at least 26 times. The handset can also survive shocks inside a vehicle on rough terrain for 1,000 miles. The handset can also stand up to 95% humidity for 48 hours and immersion in water five feet deep for up to 30 minutes. That should mean the device is up to a Texas summer.
